For queer Muslims

Empowerment Workshops
Sometimes it seems like it all can't go together. But when you look at it differently, you will see that there are actually many other possibilities. The QMEP program is private and safe.

Closed meetings
Almost every week we organize private meetings. While enjoying a snack and drink, there is room to get to know each other. Only queer Muslims are present at these.

Maruf Queer Iftars
The month of Ramadan is a spiritual process and retrospective for many Muslims. Also for us. That is why we organize iftars (dinners) and a PrEid Festival every year.
For all

Maruf Academy
Lectures, trainings, workshops and consulting in religion, society, diversity, sexuality, gender, racism, discrimination and sexism.

Maruf Messages
Our open meetings on social issues, where everyone is welcome. Keep an eye on our calendar or social media.

Maruf Activism
We articulate the needs, desires and challenges of queer Muslims through articles, media appearances and panel discussions.
International

ICRA
ICRA (International Conference on Religion and Acceptance) facilitates a platform for academics, activists and professionals. At this conference, we focus on dialogue about sexuality, sexual orientation and gender identity/expression within religion and faith.
ICRA is a follow-up to Maruf's first conference in 2012. Since then, the challenging discussion of sexuality, sexual orientation and gender identity/expression within religion and faith has been held on a larger scale.
EQMN
EQMN (European Queer Muslim Network) is a collective of queer Muslims from Europe. Every year we facilitate a private conference to empower, educate and activate queer Muslims internationally.
